Swedish accounting law requires that a verification must have a company name and VAT code registred on the verification. We use the payout details report as verification when registering your weekly payouts. The printout from our bank account is not sufficient, we need to have the details from your payout details report. According to swedish accounting law, “Bokföringslagen (BFL)” Chapter 5, the verifications need to have the company´s name and VAT code

Please add our company´s Name and VAT code to the payout details report, it is mandatory according to swedish law.
The tricky part here is that the payout page is a settlement summary from Shopify Payments, not an accounting document, so there is no way to add your company name and VAT number to it. For Swedish bokföring the record that actually needs those fields is the invoice tied to each order, not the payout.
So the practical route is to generate proper invoices (faktura) that carry your company name, org number and VAT number, then reconcile the payout report against those in your bookkeeping. Shopify’s free Order Printer can produce basic invoices if you edit the template to include the required fields, or a dedicated invoicing app built for EU VAT handles the compliant layout out of the box. Sufio is the one I see a lot of Nordic stores use for this.
One thing to watch: a single payout groups many orders together and nets out fees and refunds, so it will never line up one to one with individual invoices. Your accountant reconciles the payout total against the sum of the invoices plus the fee line, rather than treating the payout itself as the verification.
