I’ve spent an hour now trying to cancel Shopify and nothing works. Tried on phone, computer, iPad and leads to a dead end. No customer support or chat features will resolve this. I had to shut down my credit card.

You can actually consider cancelling Shopify Plan by accessing Settings-Plan and select cancel Plan to end the current subscription on Shopify end.
