Is there an option to go back to the previous admin page layout, the one with right side information panes? The previous version was easier to get a “quick glance” of the business.
I second that. I could see all my relevant data in one screen. Now I can’t even find some of it.
Agreed, they keep changing the design without giving us the option to keep the previous version and it’s really frustrating. I’m not a fan of this new layout/color scheme at all.

Couldn’t agree more! I care more about sales than traffic, so I prefer that as the default graph on the admin page. I prefer the bar graph to the filtered line graph. I can’t see any information on Shopify Capital. I can’t see past payouts or the current balance, just the next payout amount. This is absolutely a downgrade in quality and usability compared to the old version. For anyone at Shopify, was any of this run by current users to ask for feedback before implementing the changes? Five complaints in 20 minutes on the day of rollout should be a sign that this isn’t the customer experience users want.
Surprise! Shopify changed the dashboard without letting us know. They did not change it, they downgraded the dashboard. I do not like it please put back the old one. I have some vision problems and now the print is to small
I agree, this new version is way too over-simplified. On the previous version I could see everything I needed to know at a quick glance, now I need to click around to find specific details. I’d like the choice available to view it in the old version.
100% agree! I would be more than happy to partake in any surveys or chats for feedback on usability. I’m 5 1/2 years in with Shopify and use the admin page multiple times a day, 7 days a week. This new layout is such a downgrade.
This is what I’m here for. The previous layout was so much more informative. I really hate this new look. What is it intended to solve? Please, Shopify, please go back to the old layout.
If you go to google chrome settings you can make the print bigger so you can read shopify dashboard and your orders.
Yes! The font is so much smaller on every page. It makes it hard to read and a little longer to fulfill orders having to check closer on the item name and image.

Personally, I’m not having any issues reading orders. For me, the issue is that there simply isn’t the information there that there used to be.
YES! New layout is horrible with the line sales graph; the sales bar graph was much better! You can’t see daily sales and monthly sales easily at the same time now without flipping the timeline back and forth. Change it back please!
Just here to add my vote for the option to return to the old layout. Why do they keep changing things?? It’s nonstop!

Shopify, please give us the option to go back to the older layout, new layout not as good. I actually really hate it and I’m pretty chill with previous layout changes.
I also agree! I would love the choice to go back to the prior admin layout. The information I used on a daily basis is now very difficult to see whereas it was simple before. The bar graph visual was far more useful than the lines that have replaced them.
I’m glad I found this, as I could not find anywhere else on the net that addressed this questionable change. (I thought I’d accidentally hit some button that made the Admin page look over-simplified) Please offer the option to go back to the old layout of information, and in the future, gather some user feedback in some beta form first, rather than springing it on us!
Yes! The new layout is awful! It looks like it was designed 15 years ago. It’s not intuitive and offers way fewer insights and information than the previous layout.
