Filters stopped appearing on the /collections/all page while still working on specific collections; the collection.filters object returned empty only on “all.” No theme or settings changes were made.
Troubleshooting done: cache/cookies cleared and a fresh Dawn theme installed—no fix. Shopify staff advised escalating through the Help Center for account-level investigation (video guide shared), as Community can’t access stores directly.
Probable cause raised: Shopify docs state storefront filters are hidden when a collection has over 1,000 products. The store has 6,000+ products, and others on Dawn/Plus reported the same limitation and frustration.
Conflicting update: a participant later observed filters visible on the same site’s /collections/all with 11,000+ products, suggesting the limit may have been lifted or a workaround applied. Another user created a custom “all” collection to show filters but still hit a cap around 2,000 products.
Status: Unresolved in-thread. No confirmed fix from the original poster. Open questions: the current product-count limit for filters on /collections/all, whether Shopify changed the limit, and what specific workaround (if any) enables filters beyond the documented threshold.
