Talked with Shopify support and they recommended I make a post in the Shopify community first before creating a job for the Shopify Experts.
Looking for someone, something, app/plugin that works with Shopify that I can use SVG images as products but with customizable options. Basically looking at creating a new website that I can display my products, which are printed vinyl graphics for multiple different types of vehicles; Motocross bikes, snowmobiles, UTV’s etc. I want to display the graphics on our website, but be able to change colors, Change Text, Change Numbers and possibly even add logos and be able to resize and rotate those. We use Adobe Illustrator to design our stuff and I know there is a way to setup the products as SVG and import them to the web to display them as a product with the correct options.
My current website right now has a customizer, but it uses PNG images and is limited on what can change etc. It is also created by a private company and is custom built. I’m looking for a little more control and keeping it up to date every year. I think Shopifys platform is something that would work awesome for me.
I have heard of Fabric-js and Canvas as a HTML5 Java script code libary that enables you to create objects in a website to accomplish what I’m looking for, but I’m not a programmer and don’t know how to create a website with these advanced options.
Any help with pointing me in the correct direction for a developer that can do this would be awesome! Or any help with adding a plugin or app if that is what they call them to the shopify platform that would enable me to add custom products like this to my website would be greatly appreciated!
