New customers don't recieve marketing email

Hello Everyone,

I am running into something, for automated marketing I use shopify emails and for the sign up pop up I use klaviyo, when someone registers via the pop up by klaviyo, the customer does not receive the automated email that welcomes newly subscribed customers. Does anyone have a similar issue or any idea how to fix this problem. Would be greatly appreciated!

Our Customer Subscribed to Email marketing trigger currently do not work with third party apps. They currently work with Shopify Forms or the Email footer.

You can work around the current limitation by swapping the workflow to use “Customer Created” trigger. The Shopify Email before sending the email will still be performing the check on email marketing consent.
