Hey folks, new around here and new to the app scene in general.
Trying to get acquainted with the landscape here and while reading through the docs I see a lot of contradicting things around the use of jQuery. Some articles saying that its completely removed from new themes and to avoid using it (for size and speed issues). However shopify documentation (specifically the Cart API) is all jQuery examples and instructions.
I’m just a bit lost on where, or if at all - jQuery is allowed. If it’s not then that’s fine I can make JS work, but it would be helpful to know if I can directly reference shopify docs in the future
