A few years ago, I closed down a brick & mortar gift shop that specialized in holiday collectibles. I put my remaining inventory on eBay to get rid of it and took on a full time retail buyer’s position elsewhere. I became somewhat successful with selling on eBay, so I gradually started adding more to my eBay store. It became a part time job; I am currently an eBay Top Rated Seller. To date I have sold over 4600 items, have 560+ followers and with 100% positive feedback. It’ s taken me awhile to reach this point, but I’m finally ready to launch my own site. I know I’ll have a lot of work ahead of me to market/promote the site but I have no idea what to expect or how to project sales for the first year. I’m just wondering what other peoples’ experience have been. Thanks!
