New products cannot be immediately displayed in the relevant collections when they are put on shelve

The issue I am currently facing is that whenever I put new products on shelves, they cannot be immediately displayed in the relevant collections. Sometimes, after activating new products, I have to wait for around half an hour before they are displayed in the collections.

Today’s problem is even more severe. After activating the product, it still cannot be displayed in the relevant collection. However, when searching for the product by name, it can be successfully found in the search results, but it still does not show up in the collection. I have contacted Shopify multiple times but have not been able to find a concrete solution.

Does anyone have any related experiences?

Hi @phillip67 , Can you please share what type of collection setup you have in the admin? Is that manual collection or automated collection? Are you using some kind of app to manage collection sorting?

@farid-movsumov Yesterday I was constantly searching for the issue and finally found the root cause, which was caused by a certain app that prevented the collection from being successfully uploaded. Now the issue has been resolved successfully. Thank you for your response.
