New shop in shopify basic questions

Hello All,

Need some advises for shopify shop which going to open soon.

  1. How many orders in normal licence I am able to sell every day & per sec?

  2. What does it mean one location in PoS? If I want to have in additional 20 BP persons who are selling F2F in different locations (offline) then can I have one location per country or different solution here is needed not POS?

  3. I want to sell one product (one purchase), but need to send it every 6months during the 2 years. It is possible in shopify? Can I have also reminder when to send what?

  4. I want to sell food. Is there any module for restaurants and delivery guys to connect them together?

  5. How the sync looks like ? Is there any automatic way?

Thanks in advance

  1. There is no specific limit on the number of orders you can sell per day or per second on Shopify. However, it is recommended to monitor your store’s performance regularly and upgrade your plan if needed to ensure your store can handle the traffic and orders.
  2. In Shopify’s Point of Sale (PoS) system, one location refers to one physical store or retail outlet. If you have multiple retail locations, you may need to set up multiple locations in your Shopify account to manage inventory and orders. However, if you have 20 people selling F2F in different locations, and they are not connected to your Shopify store, you may not need to use the PoS system.
  3. Yes, it is possible to sell a product that needs to be sent every 6 months for a period of 2 years on Shopify. You can set up a subscription product, and use an app like ReCharge to manage the recurring orders and reminders.
  4. Yes, Shopify has several modules for restaurants and delivery services. You can use apps like Zapiet, Postmates, or DoorDash to connect your restaurant with delivery drivers.
  5. Shopify automatically syncs your online store with your inventory, orders, and other data. If you use third-party apps or integrations, the sync may depend on the app or integration you’re using. However, most apps and integrations offer automatic syncing or manual syncing options. It’s best to review the documentation of each app or integration you plan to use to understand how the sync works.

Thank you for your answer.

  1. I understand there is no specific limit but what is estimated performance/amount of users etc?

  2. Basically these people are going to be connected to shopify.20 is per one country ,so it might be much more.

There are going to sell product in front of user on website so they need special accounts

  1. Thanks. But is there option only to charge 1 time and sell many?

  2. It is restaurant, but is there something similar to deliver anything? By connecting sellers and delivery( business partners?)

  3. I want to keep the archive on my own dB. Can I use API from Shopify to sync data? Don’t wanna do it manually

Do shopify have also internal consultants to answer/advice?

  1. Performance and User Limits:

Shopify doesn’t have a specific limit on the number of orders or users you can have on your store, but performance can be impacted if your store experiences high traffic or if you have a large number of products. To ensure good performance, it’s important to optimize your store’s speed and reduce the amount of unnecessary apps or scripts that may slow down your site.

  1. Point of Sale (POS) Locations:

Shopify’s Point of Sale (POS) system allows you to sell products in-person, in addition to online. The system is designed to manage inventory across all your locations, including physical stores, pop-up shops, and events. Each POS location in Shopify is considered a physical place where you sell your products, and you can create as many locations as needed.

  1. Selling One Product with Multiple Purchases:

Shopify doesn’t have a built-in option to sell one product with multiple purchases that are charged at different intervals. However, there are third-party apps available that allow you to set up a subscription or recurring order service for your customers. These apps can help you create and manage orders that are billed on a recurring basis.

  1. Restaurant and Delivery Module:

Shopify has a variety of apps available for restaurants and delivery companies, including third-party delivery apps like Postmates, Uber Eats, and DoorDash, which integrate with Shopify. These apps allow you to manage online orders and deliveries directly from your Shopify store, streamlining the process for both you and your customers.

  1. Syncing Data with Shopify:

Shopify provides a RESTful API that allows you to programmatically retrieve and modify your store’s data. This API can be used to sync your Shopify data with your own database, as well as with other third-party services that you may be using. There are also a variety of third-party apps available that can help you automate your data syncing process, reducing the need for manual intervention.
