A couple of weeks ago there was an email about a new sync for Shopify and QB. When I click on it it just takes me to the dashboard of my QB account and when I search for apps I see a bunch of Shopify ones but not for what appears to be the newest Shopify Balance app. Has anyone had luck linking this recent version? And if so, how is it?

Rio here from the Shopify Community team. To link your Shopify Balance account to your Quickbooks account, you need to log in to your Quickbooks Online account or use the Quickbooks app. This is because merchants don’t connect their Quickbooks account through the Shopify Admin. Once you have logged in to your Quickbooks account, you should see an option to select your Shopify Balance account. This will allow you to link the two accounts, and you should then be able to use the features of the Shopify Balance app within Quickbooks.

Thanks, but the problem is among all the Shopify apps there I don’t see anything that says “Shopify Balance”
Rio can you please reply to my above comment? I have followed the list of steps, but there is no “connect” option under my bank transactions tab nor do I see specifically the Shopify Balance app when I search. Your thoughts?
The app would be on the QuickBooks apps section and not Shopify. You can refer to the links in our guide.
