New Shopify stores: want to test order tracking with a lower cost?

Hi everyone, Ann from the BestTrack team here.

I know new Shopify merchants usually have to be careful with app costs. Order tracking is useful, but it can feel too early to pay for another app before you know if it really helps your store.

That’s why we’re opening a small testing offer for new stores.

BestTrack already includes 300 tracked orders/month on the free plan. For a few new merchants who want to test more features, we can also unlock some paid features for free so you can try the tracking page, email notifications, carrier support, and customer experience with real orders.

No review required. We’re mainly looking for honest feedback from early-stage merchants.

If you’re interested, reply here or message me with your store situation.

Hey @Ann-Chan ,

Thanks for sharing, Ann. The free 300 tracked orders and temporary access to paid features could be useful for new stores that want to test the customer tracking experience before committing to another paid app. I’ll keep BestTrack in mind for stores where order tracking and post purchase communication are a priority.

Thank you !

Hey @Ann-Chan

hope you’re doing great!

Nice offer for new merchants. Giving stores a chance to test premium features before committing is a great way to gather real feedback and help them evaluate the app

Thanks so much, Steve. Really appreciate you saying that.

That’s exactly what we’re hoping to help new stores with: testing the tracking experience early, without adding too much app cost before they know what actually works for their customers.

If you have any stores where order tracking or post-purchase communication is becoming a priority, I’d be happy to help them try BestTrack and unlock some paid features for testing. Honest feedback would be very helpful for us too.

Thank you, really appreciate that.

Yes, that’s the idea. We want smaller and newer merchants to test the real customer tracking experience first, instead of committing to another paid tool too early.

If you know any Shopify stores that are trying to improve tracking emails, tracking pages, or reduce “Where is my order?” messages, feel free to send them my way. I’d be happy to help them try BestTrack with temporary access to paid features.

HI @Ann-Chan

This is a reasonable offer for new merchants, especially if the goal is to test the customer-facing experience before committing to a paid plan.

I’d just make the eligibility and process a little clearer. For example, specify roughly how many merchants you’re selecting, how long the free access lasts, and whether there are any billing obligations afterward.

Otherwise, “no review required” is a good touch. It makes the offer feel like genuine product testing rather than a disguised review request.

Thanks so much for pointing this out. That’s really helpful feedback.

You’re right, we should make the process clearer so merchants know exactly what they’re signing up for.

For this testing offer, we’re keeping it to a small group of new merchants first. Before enabling any paid features, we’ll confirm the access period clearly with each merchant, and there won’t be any automatic billing or obligation to continue afterward.

The goal is product testing and honest feedback, not reviews. I’ll update the wording to make that clearer. Really appreciate the suggestion.
