New store any advice on getting more sales?

I recently launched my store after resolving some payment issues, and while I’ve been receiving a good amount of visitors, I haven’t had any sales yet. I’ve already invested in marketing through Facebook and Instagram, but conversions are still not coming through.

Could you kindly review my store and let me know if I might be doing something wrong with the setup? I’d also appreciate any advice on how I can improve conversions and encourage purchases.

Here’s my store link: https://glowbloomaura.com/

Thank you so much for your time and support.

Here are some questions that you can ask yourself about your store and your business.

  1. Is there anything authentic and unique about my website and products?
  2. Am I being 100% honest and truthful to potential customers?
  3. Do the products and services match my claims about them?
  4. Do I have a personal connection to the products and services I’m promoting?
  5. Am I selling these products, or am I forwarding the order to someone else?
  6. Am I shipping the products personally to the customer with care?

As a customer myself, if you’re presenting your store as genuine and it’s actually not genuine, I will most definitely not be sending my hard-earned money to you. Something to think about as you go through your journey. No matter what your intentions are, being forthright will always be the best decision. See the product below:

Thanks for replying, I set up the store to do dropshipping so I set the price like the blogs or videos I watch. This is also the first time I do this so I don’t know much.

If there is anything I am missing please tell me. Any comments from everyone help to know more.

Hi @kyle1456

Welcome to the community.

First, your store looks very good, nice theme, good images, and some good trust signals. But while solid, to me it is not enough. Good start but I think you need more work.

You do not have many products, and while it is fine to focus on fewer, even better if you can make a unique product page for each. But still, with more, you could make some bundles, shop for the look and similar features for which you need more products.

But the bigger issue is what @Howie10 said, I do not get enough trust signal to connect with the store, but did find some red flags. First is contact information. Email does not mean much, social posts look the same, nothing personal. No address, no county, no phone, no detailed business info. Next, your About Us/our story is , how to say nicely, full of buzzwords that actually do not mean much. Plus,
both you and me know that “Trusted by 5,000+ customers” is a random number, and to say marketing trick and not a lie.

Like I said, a very good theme, but still a few things to improve.

  • Your second hero banner slider image does not have a link, and the first one has to all products. But all your products are actually already displayed on the homepage. Plus, that “View all” leads to a different collection but again same products. You see an issues here?
  • On the collection page, for now there is no need for filters, right?
  • Product page is solid, for example, “Stylish Soft Pilot Jacket – Glow Bloom Aura” has 3 extra sections, but again text looks off to me. Check for example Lara Suede Bomber Jacket – SEAME a few more blocks but looks more convincing with user videos, reviews, better add to cart with full color and better price. Still if you check a bit closely, it says +25.000 happy customers in 2 places and then in first sentence it changes to more than +1,500. Random numbers again  But next section says excellent 5/5 1.500 trustpilot reviews, but if you go to the trustpilot site yu see just 42 reviews with average score of 3.2 and a few of latest reviews are bad. Do read them.

And we are back to questions @Howie10 asked. Have you ordered those products yourself? How is the quality, shipping…

So a bit more work for you I think, but do spend some time here in the community checking other topics with feedback and also search fro “no sales” topics, a lot of good advice that could help you, and you can learn a lot.

Good luck, and I do hope you get sales.

Thanks for your explanation. I have not placed those products myself, I should check my way of working. I am happy to have you point out my shortcomings, it helps me learn more.

Hi there @kyle1456 here are some pieces of advice I have that could be very useful for you

  1. Add a short video or two to the product gallery to make your store look even more alluring
  2. Consider creating some well curated bundles in the store as they could help boost up conversion rates, you can check out our bundler app on the Shopify App Store for help with this.
  3. Put in the links to the social media accounts of the business at the bottom of the homepage.

Thanks for your advice. I will definitely create some well curated packages.

Hey @kyle1456

I had a quick look at your store, it actually looks great visually, so the issue might not be with the design itself. Sometimes, the real problem lies in product trust signals or slow checkout flow. I’d suggest checking your payment setup and ensuring your shipping times and return policies are clear on the site, that can make a huge difference. Also, if you’re handling fulfillment manually, you might want to look into using a service like USAdrop, since they handle logistics smoothly and can help build customer trust with faster delivery times.

Best,
Moeed
