New store - Please review my beauty tools shop!

Hi everyone!

I’m new here and would really appreciate some feedback on my store. I sell premium beauty tools and wellness devices, targeting US, Canada, and Europe markets.

My store: www.secretswomen.com

What I’d love feedback on:

  • Overall design and user experience

  • Product pages - are they clear and convincing?

  • Navigation - is it easy to find products?

  • Any issues you notice (broken links, slow loading, etc.)

  • Suggestions for improvement

I’m still learning and setting things up, so honest feedback is very welcome - don’t hold back!

Thanks in advance for taking the time to check it out!

Hey @JorgenB

I suggest working on SEO and giving proper titles to your products. “BEAUTY SILK Pro” or “BEAUTY RF” tells me nothing about what the product actually is. Women searching for “facial cleansing brush” or “LED beauty device” won’t find you because your product names are vague branded titles instead of descriptive. Use clear, searchable product names that explain what each device does, then add your brand name as a secondary element.

Your cart has a slider setup, which is good, but you’re not maximizing it. Add a progress bar showing how close people are to free shipping or a discount. Premium beauty tools often require multiple products for complete skincare routines. When someone sees they’re close to hitting a threshold, they’ll add another device or tool.

Show complementary products in that cart. Someone adds a facial device, show them other beauty tools that work together for complete skincare. Help them see what creates comprehensive beauty and wellness routines without navigating away.

Don’t install separate apps for cart features. Something like iCart handles all your cart customization in one place, affordable and effective.

Get proper product names that describe what devices actually do. Optimize for search with clear, descriptive titles. Add extensive product education about benefits and usage. Show before and after results. Build trust with reviews and testimonials. Implement cart progress bar and beauty routine recommendations.

Premium beauty tools targeting US, Canada, and Europe need exceptional trust signals and education. Fix the product naming first because that’s killing discoverability and clarity. Then optimize the cart and add comprehensive product information that justifies premium pricing.

@JorgenB
Welcome! Congrats on launching your store here’s some honest, quick feedback in a community-friendly way:

Overall design & UX

  • Clean and premium looking, fits the beauty/wellness niche well
  • Branding is consistent, but some sections feel a bit content-heavy on first load

Product pages

  • Product visuals are good
  • Descriptions could be clearer and more benefit-focused (use short bullets + outcomes)
  • Consider adding more trust signals: reviews, guarantees, certifications

Navigation

  • Simple and easy to understand
  • You could improve discoverability by adding collections like Best Sellers or By Concern

Performance / issues

Suggestions

  • Add social proof (UGC, before/after, testimonials)
  • Improve above-the-fold clarity (headline + value proposition)
  • Optimize images/scripts for better speed
  • Highlight shipping, returns, and support more clearly for US/CA/EU buyers

Overall: Good foundation, just needs optimization for conversions and trust. Keep going you’re on the right track

One thing that most failures have in common is they make huge claims and yet have little to no actual investment in their own business.

You claim things like “Professionally tested tools” and “innovation meets luxury”, and yet you won’t even invest in a proper business email client.

It’s not hard. It’s not expensive. For the life of me, I don’t understand why people think they will succeed without investing in the most basic features of business structure.

Thanks so much Rutvik! Really appreciate the detailed feedback. Taking notes on everything - will start making these changes right away. Very helpful!

Thanks for the detailed feedback! Really helpful. Taking notes on everything - will check the PageSpeed analysis and start optimizing. Appreciate it!

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I appreciate constructive feedback, which is why I asked the community for help as I’m just starting out.

You’re right that a professional email adds credibility - in fact, I already have it set up and paid for, I just haven’t linked it to the store yet (setup priorities). As for investment, I’ve invested in several aspects of the business, though they may not be visible at first glance.

I’d gently suggest that assuming someone is headed for failure or isn’t investing in their business based on one visible detail, without knowing the full context, isn’t particularly helpful or encouraging for new entrepreneurs seeking guidance.

The other community members provided actionable insights while being supportive, which is what makes communities like this valuable. I’m here to learn and improve, and I’m grateful for those who take the time to help others grow.

Cheers!

I’m not “other community members” who will blow smoke up your rear. I tell it like it is. You had not incorporated a professional email into your store. Plain and simple. It’s just basic fundamentals in business: Don’t make grandiose claims without the infrastructure to support them. You lacked the infrastructure on the website. Hope you will soon incorporate your email into it so it’s not lacking.

Hi @JorgenB

First, please take some time and search the community for topics with “store feedback” or “no sales”. You will find a lot of stores with almost the same situation as yours. You should find a lot of good tips.

But in short, you havea basic store currently, not bad, but there is so much more to do. I do not see much value in the text; it looks like it was generated by AI. To me, it does not speak to customers; there is no way to connect. There is nothing personal, human, almost. Images look AI-generated, cut off. No videos, real use of products by real people.

And email is important as Maximus mentioned, and not even a proper domain email is enough. You need full bussiness detail, phone, and address, maybe registration number. That bring to trust, right now it is not enough. Plus, your about us, again, does not have anything personal and uses, plus you have a few typos. Also, “real results” uses an AI image

I did not find any social networks connected. You do need that.

Again, check this forum and learn from other topics. And here is an example of what you should aim for https://www.solawave.co/ check all content and proper product page.

One more note, for Maximus reply, for sure not gentle, but it is a truth, He does not want to sell you any app. But also, you have no idea how many stores we saw, so a lot of experience. And dropshipping is hard, you compete with thousands of similar stores but also with big companies.

Good luck.

hey @JorgenB you did a great job but you can do make more attractive store
i think it is your first time to design or develop a store so feel free if you have any question about it
