I am running into a problem. Whenever a new subscriber joins my website. The Location of that subscriber added and shows only United States when I go and see Customers in Shopify.

I’ve tested on different PC’s, Mobiles, Browsers, and even via VPN to change country but Shopify always assign United States as location to my new subscribers.

Here are some details about my store:
My store ships to United States only and I’ve setup only one zone which is United States and one currency which is USD. Is this something to do with new subscribers added location only United States.

I believe shoofly fetch the location of visitors via IP and adds location exactly from where the user is from. It’s nothing to do with the store default country, that’s what I believe.

I’ve tested some popup apps as well to gather my subscribers and interestingly the pop up apps added and shows correct location of new subscribers from different countries but I can’t use popup apps as they don’t add location in Shopify customers database.

I would like if anyone has the solution for this problem so my new subscribers always be added and shows their exact location rather than United States only.
