*NEW USER* Having trouble with menu navigation. *URGENT*

Hi everyone,

Recently founded a clothing boutique and I am working on the clothing boutique website currently. Looking to see how far I can get with it before hiring a developer. I am currently working on my header which can be seen below:

When I add a menu this is what I get:

I have now came across an issue where I am unable to make a navigational menu just like this example below:

I am looking for my logo to be above the navigation menu. If someone can give me an in depth almost step-by-step walkthrough that would be greatly appreciated.
