I’ve installed a price measurement calculator app for a customised product I offer. I’ll be shipping this worldwide for free and have created a shipping zone in which to do so.
However when doing a trial checkout, it’s offering my general shipping options.
The app seems to creating a new variant for every test measurement I enter, and these variants aren’t saving to the correct shipping zone, they’re saving to general.
See image. As it’s a live order being created there and then I can’t edit the shipping zone.
Any ideas how I can fix this?

Hi, did you get an answer to this from your developer? We have a similar issue because we are using an auction app. When an auction completes the app works by creating a new variant inside a specific product, which is then used to complete the order with the customer. The variant can take all the information from the product’s detail page, however I understood that it wasn’t easy (or possible) to capture the shipping details. I am sure that there might be a way to do this and I could certainly share it with the auction app developers, if we can get to the bottom of it.
Did you have any luck? Or was this not possible?
