I’ve just run a fresh test and scored 33 on mobile and 92 on desktop. The great news here is that some of your core vitals are already passing on desktop! So you are off to a great start.
It’s not uncommon for the mobile test to score lower then desktop, that’s because mobile devices have less of the power of a desktop cpu and also the connection they are using is a cellular data connection rather then ethernet / WiFi so it’s always a bit more challenging.
Due to these technological constraints and the importance of a high scoring core vitals due to the Google ranking algorithm, we specialize in optimization for all mobile devices and can ensure you get the best possible result for your configuration.
Beyond simply the layout and assets such as images, it’s third-party apps and how they are implemented that cause this slowdown on Mobile.
How to fix your page:
In your case it’s the vimeo embed that’s causing this slowdown - the javascript player is just too heavy to load on mobile and get a high score from Google PageSpeed Insights and is causing an issue with your LCP (Largest Contentful Paint)
Remove the vimeo embed to rectify this and you’ll see a higher score on mobile. You could replace it with a thumbnail or if you require on-page video you’ll need to defer loading.
We can help you with this and then do a deeper dive into your Apps and assets and ensure that everything is loading as optimally as possible. Contact us for more information!
