Within the Google Sales Channels > Settings > Google Ads account.
Trying to Connect a Google Ads account but the selection is greyed out with, “No Ads accounts found” despite the fact we have a valid Google Ads account.
Additionally, the solution proposed here in 2020 does not work either.
Any help would be appreciated.

@EIM_Adv That ad account may not be in your currently connected Google Merchant account. It may belongs to another merchant account that isn’t actually connected to your Shopify Store.
The Google Ads account is indeed [already] linked in the Merchant Center. Additionally, the same Merchant Center is also [already] linked to the Shopify. I am open to any other ideas.
