No business for almost a year

Hi. I’ve had my store Almost a year and have no sales. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? I started a Shopify store a year ago. I wanted this to be another source of income since I am retired but and all I am doing is paying the monthly fee each month with no business yet.

Hi ,

I understand the frustration of not seeing sales yet. It might be due to some SEO issues. Here’s a quick rundown of what we can check:

  1. Keyword Use: Make sure your product titles and descriptions include popular search terms. This helps your store appear in search results.

  2. On-Page SEO: Ensure each page has a clear meta description and optimized headings. This helps search engines understand your content better.

  3. Content Quality: Adding engaging content like blog posts or buying guides can attract more visitors.

  4. Technical Checks: A slow website or broken links can hurt your rankings. We should make sure everything is running smoothly.

  5. Backlinks: Getting links from reputable sites can improve your store’s authority and search ranking.

By improving these areas, we can help boost your store’s visibility and sales. Let me know if you need a detailed plan!

  5. After-Sales Service: Providing excellent customer service after a sale can encourage repeat business and positive word-of-mouth.

  6. Evaluate Your Product Offering: Ensure that your products are appealing and competitively priced. Consider whether there is a demand for your products and if they are presented in an attractive way on your site.

  7. Promotions and Discounts: Offering promotions or discounts can attract new customers and encourage them to make a purchase.
