Okay I think something is broken with this theme or something I have done has made it slow down.
I deleted a couple of apps and removed unused blocks from all the pages and it is now even slower.
To my absolute surprise, when I went in to ‘edit code’, despite me having removed unused code blocks from the theme editor, the code was still in the theme in the back end. Who on earth decided that this was a good thing to do!?
So now I have to go through all the code (without knowing what I’m doing) and I’m going to have to try to find things I’ve added through the theme editor and since removed and delete them there, too. Madness.
Anyone from Shopify able to help here or confirm why this happens?
