No "Channel" listed on completed draft orders initiated via POS

I am running a pilot program using the Shopify POS system in conjunction with our website. When I use the “send a cart” feature to create a draft order for a customer, when the order is eventually placed (via the link in draft order email), i have an issue in Shopify.

The usual “channel” column that will say “online store” or “point of sale” is simply blank with no info. Is there a way to modify information in the channel column, or to make sure draft orders originated from a POS device get attributed to “point of sale” in the channel column once they eventually convert?
