All my products are on the general shipping profile, as soon as I enter an address on the checkout page I get this error message on all products “This item will be removed from your cart because there are no delivery methods available for your address”.
All countries and regions are covered by shipping zones, they all have the same shipping rate entered.
I simply want to display and charge one fixed amount for shipping, no matter the address. No choices, no alternatives, no delivery dates or duration, no information on product location or any other information or settings.
You still need to configure a shipping zone and flat rate shipping under the General shipping profile. However, you are not required to add any specific zone in the Shipping zone or any weight-based or price-based condition in the shipping rate, since you would like to offer flat rate shipping to all your buyers across the region
I see, I had all products in the general shipping rates already (as the attached images show) and thought this was enough. Why is there a need to do everything again under custom shipping rates?
Looks like you have multiple profiles. The text ‘All products not in other profiles’ indicates that some products are not available in the ‘General’ profile.
Apart from that, everything looks fine, including the shipping profile, zone configuration, and shipping options.
In such cases, the issue may be due to caching. You can try clearing your browser cache and changing the address to a new one, or try using a different browser.
If you’ve already cross-checked all the points and still facing the issue, then it may require further troubleshooting by accessing your store. I recommend reaching out to the Shopify support team or the relevant third-party app support (if you’re using any), they can login and verify the configuration to assist you further.
I had this issue and the problem was that I had Amazon’s “Buy with Prime” turned on. Shopify was showing me inventory levels for my warehouse inventory AND my FBA quantity. When I drilled down into my actual quantity on hand in my warehouse, it was a negative value. I adjusted that up and the problem was solved. The problem is not evident at first glance because it appears that you have inventory for the SKU when you dont.
TLDR: It’s a poor UI display from Shopify that deceives you by displaying your FBA inventory when your in stock inventory value may be <0.
