Perfect day community
I am a new store looking to sell clothing and accessories online without paid ads. With 0 followers at the moment as all social media accounts are new. I would like to hear you opinion on how you managed to succeed. https://besteigen-store.myshopify.com/
@BESTEIGEN ,
Instead of focusing on ads I’d spend time creating short videos on TikTok and Instagram showing your products how to style them and behind-the-scenes content. Consistency is what helped me the most.
I’d also make sure your store looks trustworthy with clear policies an About Us page and good product photos. People are much more likely to buy from a new brand if they feel they can trust it.
It takes time but if you keep posting valuable content and engage with your audience every day the first sales will come.
Wow this is so powerful
I didn’t even notice the product number, thank you for that
Thank you so much for your response, and your advice will provide true value to enhance my store. Thank you
Wow thank you so much for your honest opinion, and your point of view on the store is so valuable. I’ve got some work to you
. Thank you
Hello @BESTEIGEN
, welcome to shopify community.
Congratulations on launching your store! Starting with 0 followers is completely normal.
If you’re planning to grow without paid ads, I’d focus on:
Posting consistently on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest (fashion does well on visual platforms).
Creating short videos showing your outfits and styling ideas.
Working with micro-influencers and encouraging user-generated content.
Optimizing your product titles and descriptions for SEO.
Building an email list from day one, even if traffic is small.
Asking friends, family, and early customers to share your brand and leave reviews.
Organic growth is usually slower at the beginning, but it compounds over time. Many successful stores grew through consistent content, word of mouth, and community building before spending on ads.
I also took a quick look at your store, and I’d recommend adding an About Us section, trust badges, and more lifestyle images so visitors can connect with your brand and feel confident buying from a new store.
Keep going, every brand starts at zero followers. Consistency matters more than having a big budget.
Hi @BESTEIGEN .
Organic growth from zero is tough but doable . Focus on one platform first. TikTok or Instagram Reels usually work best for clothing. Instead of spreading thin across all of them. Content that shows the product in real use outfit styling, unboxing, behind the scenes tends to outperform polished product shots for new accounts.
Also worth leaning into micro influencer gifting and collabs early since they bring an audience you do not have yet. Consistency matters more than perfection at this stage. Daily posting for a few months usually moves the needle more than occasional high effort content.
Thank you so much, Ajay! I really appreciate the offer. I’m going to work on swapping in my designs and adding those on-body shots this week. I will definitely ping you here once the changes are live to get your feedback!
Thank you so much for your response, your insight and point of view is super valuable to me, this will sertainly help improve my brand. Bless you and I do wish you a perfect success on your journey
Thank you so much for your response. Focusing on one social media account is an excellent solution as I have found having multiple accounts is more work to manage. Your advice is highly valued and I will sertainly try it out. Thank you
