So here is a case. We are the app developers. And we have a merchant on Shopify Plus plan with a custom plan. Before September 2021 we had been paid every month without any issues. But after that payments just stopped. I checked the merchant’s store - still operates as usual. No cancelations/changes for the plan.
I’ve contacted the support, and here are their words:
" Yeah, so I can’t really comment on payment by the Merchant. Plus Shops as mentioned do get billed a bit later than our regular plans, but we can’t provide any billing details/payment details here. The majority of the time when this happens it is due to us not receiving payment (as you receive payment when we do based on our PPA.) I can check further and see if there may be any other recourse, but I’m not sure that there’s anything I could really advise on or change here."
So the merchant just continues using the app for free, no payment Shopify can charge.
Has anyone had such case before?
