Hello GFI1,

I would look at other sites similar to yours and edit accordingly. Also, you could create a template - https://termly.io/products/tl/terms-of-service

You have good products which I would purchase and a decent home page, but trust is a factor as it looks more like your starting out. Create a Story about yourself, family, and why you are selling what you are selling - even make that front and center with good images.

I know I am not sharing much here but every little bit helps.

Hey Gfi1,

I would recommend trying two things.

1.1 Product seeding. This means that you proactively reach out to nano/micro influencers to get their physical address to send them your product for free, no strings attached. Some of them might post on ig/fb/tiktok (whichever social platform they are on) because of the feeling of reciprocity.

1.2 Incentivized posting by commissions. You would incentivize nano influencers with commissions (ex. give them 30% on each purchase) for every customer they get to you.

  1. Recommend trying fb/ig ads.

Note: It is very important to check your analytics to see where visitors are dropping off. Is it because of virtually no traffic, or is it that your Product detail page is not very straightforward? This would direct your efforts to see where you should invest more time and energy to grow your business.

By the way, your site is designed well, good job!

Hope this helps.

There are great ideas here. I have similar issues with my Shopify store - www.rags2richesshop.com. I have not been able to identify the issues except that I am not getting any orders. Any recommendations or leads will be greatly appreciated.

Hey Nav4650,

First of all the on-site experience is not very appealing to a customer. I would recommend trying the following:

  1. Shrink the menu so it is visible but not too big.

  2. The banner in the above-the-fold should be removed and replaced by a banner that has an image in the background and a clear concise tagline that explains what your store is about (ex. Elegance Redefined: Where Style Meets Grace in Every Thread).

  3. Create a logo, doesn’t have to be very visually beautiful for now, and put it in the top left corner of the site

  1. If you want to link to your store’s social profiles, do so in the footer of the site.

In terms of product detail pages, I would recommend allowing the user to be able to scroll through the PDP without having to scroll through all the images to be able to reach the CTA (Add to cart/Buy with shop pay).

For acquiring customers try some of the tips I mentioned above in my previous comment to Gfi1.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much. It’s been a great help. You should be Collabrator.

Thank you Chris for very productive comments. I know I need help with my store but the thought of involving a partner is very frightening, almost feel like having to sell my house to pay for a Shopify Partner. If you can help me without my arm and leg in return, my email is Navi.commerce50@gmail.com.

Sure thing. Tell me how it goes. Good luck!

Before all of the measures given below, you need to figure out the USPs, best seller and how it could benefit your customers. Then follow these:

Measures to Modify Your Organic Marketing

  • Analyze your content: You need to find out whether your contentis engaging and relevant to your target audience? Are you using the right tone or content quality?
  • Focus on building a community: Don’t just try to sell. Share valuable content, interact with your audience, and build relationships. Run contests and giveaways to generate excitement.
  • Utilize different formats: Experiment with different video formats, stories, and live streams to see what resonates best with your audience.
  • Track your results: Use analytics tools to track your reach, engagement, and website traffic from your social media efforts. This will help you identify what’s working and what needs improvement.

You may boost your profile and do the low-cost advertising. Apart from this do a bit of offline marketing also. Still if you are struggling then check the SEO and web hosting service provider.

Hi @gfi1

I’m Garcia, a CRO expert at PageFly, and I’ve been analyzing your store. I’ve identified some quick and impactful changes you can make to significantly boost your conversions and sales.

1. Hero Banner Optimization

  • Strengthen your CTA: Replace “Shop all” with a specific and action-oriented phrase like “Shop Now!” or “Discover More”, “Explore Our Collections!”,…
  • Maximize banner visibility: Ensure your hero banner fits within one scroll for optimal engagement.

This is an example from a PageFly pre-made template for homepage. You can take a look at this:

2. Add more sections for your homepage

The current homepage lacks depth to convince visitors to buy. Consider adding these conversion-boosting sections:

  • Benefit Bar: Highlight key product advantages in a clear, concise way.

  • Product Details Spotlight: Feature high-demand products with captivating visuals and enticing descriptions.

  • About Us: Build trust and brand connection with your story and values.
  • Testimonials: Showcase real customer love to build social proof and trust.
  • Social Feed Display: Integrate your Instagram or Facebook feed to add social buzz and encourage engagement.

3. Prioritize Best Sellers

Change “Featured Products” to “Best Sellers” to emphasize popular items and guide purchase decisions.

4. Less is more with popups

The initial double popup feels intrusive and might push customers away. Consider delaying the second popup until later in the browsing journey, like after 40 seconds on the page.

5. Visualize product variety

Implement color swatches for product variations. This allows customers to quickly explore options without clicking through each colorway, improving decision-making and potentially increasing basket size.

Example:

6. Gear up for Valentine’s Day

With the romantic season approaching, here are some additional conversion-driving tactics:

  • Countdown Timer: Create urgency for limited-time Valentine’s offers or product deals.
  • Product Recommendations: On individual product pages, suggest relevant bundles or complementary items. For example, bundle a camera with a bag, extra lenses, and a tripod.
  • Valentine’s Theme: Embrace the season with a subtle red, pink, and white color palette to evoke festive cheer and enhance brand memory.

By implementing these simple yet powerful CRO strategies, you can significantly improve your website’s conversion rate and maximize sales during Valentine’s Day and beyond.

I hope this gives you actionable insights to optimize your store!
