Why am I not receiving sales on my Shopify store? I have traffic on my store, but I have 0 sales. At this point, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Please help. www.lukkydeals.com, Pet Niche.
“Unbeatable deals” is what your site claims.
So why did it take me 30 seconds to find the exact same product for half the price somewhere else?
And I could probably find it much cheaper, but you get the picture. Why buy from you when I can get it from them for less?
Having a store really isn’t that complicated. You have a bunch of cheap dropshipped products, you marked up the price beyond what anyone wants to pay. End of story. It’s really simple. Offer what the customer wants, at a price the customer is willing to pay. Simple economics my man.
If it isn’t working, change it… Seriously, there’s no point in wasting years of your time and money if it’s not going to produce any fruit. So change it up. Do something else. There are thousands of products and services the world has to offer. You can learn how to 3d print or something.
Really appreciate your feedback. Please help me with how to do that.
If it’s been years with zero sales, it’s usually a traffic or offer problem, not a Shopify problem. Check whether anyone is actually visiting the site, then look hard at pricing, product differentiation, and trust signals like reviews and shipping clarity. Before spending more time or money, try driving a small amount of targeted traffic and see if anyone converts at all.
i visited your website and I have to tell you that your website is full of lies and people can see that.
Unless you own PetPalace as well, then your reviews are all fake. Which means no one would trust anything from your site if your reviews are fake.
Traffic with zero sales means your store has conversion issues. Let me tell you what’s stopping people from buying.
Your pricing is high for some of your products. In the pet niche, people comparison shop aggressively because they can find similar items on Amazon, Chewy, and other established retailers. If your prices are noticeably higher without clear justification for the premium, people will leave and buy elsewhere. Either justify your pricing with quality, unique products, or exceptional value, or adjust to be competitive.
Your cart needs optimization. You have a slider cart, which is good, but you’re not using it to increase what pet owners spend. Add a progress bar showing how close they are to free shipping or a discount. Pet owners often need multiple items, toys and treats, grooming supplies and accessories, products for different pets. When they see they’re close to hitting a threshold, they’ll add another item.
Show complementary products in that cart. Someone adds a dog toy, show them treats or grooming supplies. Someone grabs cat accessories, suggest other cat products. Help them see what creates a complete pet care setup without navigating away.
Don’t install separate apps for cart features. Something like iCart handles all your cart customization like progress bar, upsells (product recommendations), bundles, and discounts in one place, affordable and simple.
Fix your pricing to be competitive or justify the premium, optimize that cart with progress bar and complementary products, add strong trust signals throughout the site, and ensure product pages answer every question. Those changes will start converting the traffic you’re getting.
Thank you so much for all of your feedback. Can anyone please help me to fix my website and get some sales.
Regards,
Sree
Hello @sree.tirumannamalai,
Sorry to hear you’re dealing with that.
Have you looked into tools like Augmented Reality? For pet products, customers usually worry about things like size, fit, and whether something will actually work in their home or for their pet.
With AR, customers can scan a QR code and instantly see a product in their own space before buying. This makes it much easier to understand scale and placement, and helps them feel more confident about their purchase.
I’ve seen some pet brands start using these tools to reduce guesswork and improve the overall shopping experience, especially now that they’re easier to test and more accessible.
Hoping to see your store grow!
Hi there @sree.tirumannamalai for the most part, your store does seem pretty okay to me which leads me to believe the major issue here might be the “kind” of traffic you’re attracting to your store which in turn points to a need to review the marketing strategies that you currently employ.
That being said, I do think you should work a bit on the pop ups situation. They shouldn’t just jump out immediately a customer lands on the store, I think you should reset them to show up after a short while has been spent and some scrolling has been done.
Also, the store reviews could look a bit more convincing if images were shared of the pets with the items in question that were bought and being praised in the write ups.
Hi @sree.tirumannamalai , do you have any tool that recording customer journey in your theme, maybe you have an issue inside your theme that prevents people add products to cart?
I took a quick look at your store. The main issue may be a lack of trust and clarity. I give advice to elevate your product descriptions and showcase customer reviews. Small trust signals give positive effect. Also, you can try affiliate with creators to bring more qualified visitors.
