- I need some guidance with my store. I have been up and running a little over a month with over 5k visitors but NO sales. I have already paid a marketer over 800 dollars but still nothing. Is this normal? What am I doing wrong? Any feedback would be appreciated. My store is www.debronsales.com. Thanks so much!
Hey @Debron
Your store is designed pretty basic, I would highly suggest you to first work on your store and make it look professional enough so that it attracts your customers and gets you some amazing sales for your website as well. Feel free to let me know if you want me to help you out with your store and I would be more than happy to give you a helping hand.
Best Regards,
Moeed
Hi @Debron , thank you for posting here!
Honestly, once I visited your store, I did not want to buy anything because the store did not trust me.
I highly recommend that you redesign your store to look more professional, if it still is the current design, I guarantee you that if you push more marketing efforts, it will only make you boost more sales with this store design.
1. Revise the menu bar
Your menu is too simple and lacks categories for your storeâs products, making it difficult for customers to easily access the items they need to purchase.
2. Redesign the image banner
Your banner is too simple and does not reflect the uniqueness of your brand. Additionally, the font and text color are difficult to read when I look at the banner image; you should redesign it to make it more visually appealing.
Moreover, The button on the hero page is very important for driving customers to your product collections, so it needs to stand out and have a truly attractive CTA text for customers. I recommend adding some effects like shadows to give the button a raised appearance and changing the color to align with your brandâs concept to encourage customers to click on it more. Additionally, instead of âShop nowâ you could use more appealing messages like âLimited stock available. Buy now to secure your item!â, âGrab yours today,â or âGet our new collections first,â etc.
3. Optimize customer testimonial
I noticed that your customer reviews only contain text and lack ratings as well as customer avatars. To make them more personalized and trustworthy, you should consider adding these elements.
4. Add key USPs section with key icons
Your current homepage lacks key information about products. It may increase the bounce rate as users donât find important content they need. Helpful, easy-to-see benefits icons quickly introduce your productsâ unique selling points, giving a reason to purchase from you instead of the competition.
5. Adding About Us section in the Homepage
We cater to humanistic shoppers, who will seek out who is BEHIND the product, and why they should buy from you. So consider adding an About Us section to introduce your brand.
I can see that you have not had an About Us page yet but adding a separate section on your homepage would help visitors easy to read without having to navigate to another page. It would improve the user experience in general.
For example:
Because your store is new, I wanted to share some successful tips on traffic and conversion with you here that you might find useful:
- Social Proof: add a live visitor counter, recent purchases, and just bought to get instant attention by showcasing a large number of store visitors
- Sales Pop Up: add a gamification box, and discount code with a countdown timer to make customersâ purchases more fun and engaged with an animated gamification box
- FOMO and Scarcity: add order, add-to-cart, sold count, low-stock alert to increase checkout rate with a sense of urgency
- Cart Recovery: add exit tab animation, cart abandonment alert, and comeback alert to convert abandoned carts into sales
All those features can be added to your store with just one Free app from us, SnapNoti FOMO Visitor Counter.
I recommend implementing these changes to improve customer experience when scrolling through your store and, in turn, increase your conversion rate.

Hi @Debron ! Iâm Tracy from BON Loyalty, the top-rated Shopify loyalty app.
Looking at your store, I think the main area for improvement is aligning your store design with your brand positioning. Since youâre positioning yourself as a seller of premium products, your website should reflect trustworthiness and a premium feel. With that in mind, here are a few suggestions (NUMBER 3 IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE):
1. Enhance every image on your store
From the hero banner to collection features and product images, each image should be high-quality and high-resolution. Currently, the images seem a bit outdated and donât look professionally taken, especially at the homepage. Unpolished images can detract from a premium brand perception. Consider investing in high-quality photography that captures the essence of your products and showcases them effectively.
2. Revamp the hero banner
The hero banner is often the first impression customers have of your brand, so itâs essential it reflects your brandâs identity. Choose an image that represents your branding well, and ensure the text contrasts clearly with the background for easy readability.
3. KEEP AN EYE ON STOCK VISIBILITY
Currently, ALL PRODUCTS on your site appear sold out, which definitely discourage customers. When your items are unavailable, it gives the impression that stock and inventory management are not prioritized. Consider either restocking or removing these products until theyâre available again to maintain trust and interest.
4. Add an âadd to cartâ button below products on the homepage and collection pages
Simplifying the buying journey is key. Adding an âadd to cartâ button directly below products allows customers to add items to their cart as they browse, making it easier for them to decide and proceed to checkout.
These are just some starting points to bring out your brandâs premium feel. Once you have these updates in place, you can see how customers respond and make other adjustments from there. Let me know how it goes, Iâm here to help!
If you find these suggestions helpful for you, please let me know by giving BON Loyalty a âLIKEâ or marking it as a âSOLUTIONâ.
Best,

Hey there @Debron , this is Alexis from Akohub.
I know it can be super frustrating to have high traffic but no sales, especially after putting in the time and money to get visitors to your store. Here are a few tips to help turn those clicks into conversions.
First, make sure your homepage is engaging and easy to navigate. Try using a banner that highlights your best-selling product or an exclusive offer to capture attention right away. Itâs a good idea to keep the navigation simple so visitors can find what theyâre looking for quickly. A clear âShop Nowâ button can guide them directly to your products without any distractions.
Product descriptions and images also play a big role in converting visitors to buyers. Instead of just listing details, try emphasizing the benefits and features that would resonate with your audience. High-quality images are essential, make sure theyâre zoomable and show your products from multiple angles. This can boost customer confidence, making them feel more comfortable purchasing.
Another key element is building trust. Adding customer reviews or testimonials can make a huge difference, even if theyâre from friends or early testers. Consider having a âBest Sellersâ or âCustomer Favoritesâ section to give your store a more established feel. It also helps to display secure payment icons and provide links to your shipping and return policies at the bottom of the page, making shoppers feel safe and informed.
For promotions, you already have a pop-up for subscribing, which is great! Just make sure thereâs a compelling reason to sign up, like a discount or free shipping on their first order. And try using a strong call-to-action (like âShop Our Collectionâ) on the landing page banner to nudge visitors toward browsing.
If youâre looking for tools to help increase conversions, consider using Ako Retargeting and Loyalty programs. Retargeting can help bring back visitors who didnât convert on their first visit by showing them ads as they browse elsewhere. Meanwhile, a loyalty program can encourage repeat purchases by rewarding customers for coming back or referring friends. These tools can go a long way in turning one-time visitors into loyal customers.
Lastly, check your analytics for any drop-off points. If a lot of people are leaving on a certain page, it could be worth tweaking that part of the site. And make sure your ads are targeted to reach the right people and that the messaging aligns with what they find on your site, consistency can help reduce bounce rates. If youâd like to learn more about how to improve your conversion rates, you can check out this blog here
Hope this helps, and best of luck with your store! Keep tweaking, and youâll see improvements over time.
Hi there, Iâm Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder.
Congrats on your new store! The website looks clean & majestic. I had a good experience exploring it. However, from my Conversion Rate Optimization expertise, I would like to give you some suggestions regarding the store design to make the store more stunning and better convert.
- General
- Make the header smaller to improve UX and make room for other key content
- BFCM tips: Utilize your announcement bar with countdown timer and make it sticky
If you are planning to run on a promotion for BFCM, you can consider adding a countdown timer as an announcement bar for limited-time offers to create a sense of urgency and drive conversions. Also itâs important to make it sticky even when scrolling down to keep reminding visitors about the promotion.
You can take this as a reference:
- Homepage
- Invest more on the hero banner
The hero banner in the homepage is an important touchpoint to impress your customers when they first land on the site. The current banner may cause visitors to confuse in the first 5 seconds what products you are offering. Your current one is a bit confusing as the key products are not highlighted and also the text is made vague in the background.
You can take it as a reference:
- Better restructure the homepage: Make heading with prominent stylings for each section on the homepage, for example: Best selling, Our story, What makes us unique, Testimonial,âŚ
Reference:
- Pay attention to the first product showcase: The first product showcase on your homepage is a highly important touch point as it would decide whether or not visitors have interest in your products and make a purchase.
-
Pay more attention to product stock.
-
Add secondary hover on image: Instead of a single static image, it would be better to show more how your products are used in real life or unique details/patterns of them, which can increase the likelihood of making a purchase.
-
Add an âExplore moreâ button to allow shoppers to view additional products. This would help reduce bounce rate and allow more chances of getting sales as they can continue to explore other options to their liking.
- About Us Section
Visitors who land on your site for the first time might seek out who is behind the product, and why they should buy from you. So consider adding an About Us section to introduce your brand.
For example,
- Key USPs section with icons
Your current homepage lacks key information about products. It may increase the bouncing rate as users donât find important content they need. Helpful, easy-to-see benefits icons quickly introduce your productsâ unique selling points, giving a reason to purchase from you instead of the competition.

- Make Add to cart button & price information in prominent styling
Itâs important to highlight the key information like the price and call to action. Adding other styling like bold, italic, using different color and font size to the price and mouse over state for ATC button to make them more noticeable.
Reference:
- Use option swatches to display product variants:
Instead of a dropdown menu for product variants, you can consider using option swatches to showcase different color options of the product. Swatches are intuitive and user-friendly which would enhance the shopper experience.
Reference:
- Add a sticky add to cart button to product page
A sticky Add to cart (ATC) button remains visible on the screen as users scroll through product details, images, and reviews. This reduces friction and ensures the call-to-action is always accessible, making it easier for shoppers to make a purchase decision without having to scroll back up.
Reference:
- Optimize product description display
Your current product description contains both text, size guide and product images. Consider compressing it into accordions / content tab for product information and slideshow for product images so that your product pages look better-structured & the shoppersâ experience is enhanced.
Reference:
- Include Review/Testimonial section into your product page
I understand your store is new, but just a friendly-reminder, donât forget reviews are essential to the shopping experience. You should add a testimonial section to build trust for your productsâ quality. If there are not enough rating stars, consider using text & images to showcase feedback of your first orders.

Thank you for your suggestions! I just have one question- where are you
seeing that all my products are sold out? None of them are sold out and I
donât see that anywhere. Please let me know as I understand how this can
be a big problem! Thanks again!
Hello there @Debron my first observation on the store is that thereâs a lack of a sticky header which makes navigation much easier since it would allow customers to easily access the search button on top.
You should also look to include categories for best sellers and latest arrivals on the homepage.
my last recommendation would be to make the reviews on the store a bit more spicy if possible. Maybe include pictures and maybe the profession/country location of the customers there. It makes them appear more authentic.
Hi @Debron
Itâs really frustrating to see traffic coming in but no sales. Iâve been there, and I totally get how discouraging it feels, especially after investing so much time and money. Letâs break it down and figure out what might be going on.
1. Check Your Website Experience- First Impressions Matter: When I opened your site, it seemed simple but not very polished. Visitors might not feel confident about buying. Consider upgrading the design to look more professional. Shopify themes like Dawn or premium ones like Impulse could make a big difference.
- Navigation & Clarity: Is your site easy to navigate? Can I quickly find what Iâm looking for? For example, your homepage should highlight your best products or offers upfront.
- Trust Signals: Do you display reviews, testimonials, or trust badges? People hesitate to buy from new stores without proof that others are happy with your products.
2. Product Presentation- Product Descriptions: Are they detailed and enticing? Think of a description as your chance to sell the product. Use clear, relatable language and highlight benefits.
- Images: Crisp, high-quality images are non-negotiable. Include multiple angles and maybe even videos. If youâre selling products like gadgets, show how they work.
- Pricing: Is your pricing competitive? If it seems too high or even too low (which can feel sketchy), people might bounce.
3. Target Audience Misalignment- Your 5k visitors are great, but are they the right visitors? If your marketer targeted the wrong audience, they might just be browsing with no intent to buy. Use Shopify Analytics to see where traffic is coming from. Are these locations where people might need your product?
- Look into Facebook Ads or Google Analytics to understand demographics like age, interests, and behavior.
4. Marketing & Conversion Strategy- Retarget Visitors: Did you use retargeting ads for people who visited but didnât buy? These are gold. Apps like Klaviyo can also help you retarget via email.
- Call to Action (CTA): Are your CTAs clear and persuasive? Simple phrases like âShop Nowâ or âLimited Time Offerâ work best.
- Social Proof: People trust what others say. If you have reviews or user-generated content, show it off. If you donât, offer incentives (like discounts) for reviews.
5. Technical Stuff- Page Speed: Test your site speed on tools like Google PageSpeed Insights. Slow sites = no sales.
- Mobile Optimization: Most visitors shop from phones. Your site needs to look flawless on mobile.
6. Evaluate the Marketerâs Work- Check what your marketer did for $800. Did they set up effective ad campaigns, or was it more of a basic setup? Maybe they targeted poorly or didnât create engaging content for ads.
- You might be better off running small test ads yourself and tweaking as you go.
Hereâs a quick checklist for immediate action:
- Add testimonials or trust badges to your site.
- Revisit product pages to enhance images and descriptions.
- Look at your audience insights and see if the traffic aligns with your target buyer.
- Run retargeting ads for visitors who didnât buy.
- Evaluate your ads and how they communicate your productâs value.
If you want, I can help analyze specific areas like product pages or your ad targeting in more detail. Let me know!
If you need any other assistance, feel free to reply and I will try my best to help.
Best regards,
Daisy
