Hi, I got a problem with my new theme… I can’t add any sections anymore on my shopify store. this problem occured when I decided to use a new theme and I can’t add things on my product page and homepages etc.,
Hi, @DylanBensi20 . I’m happy to look into this with you! Can you confirm which theme you’re using and where you got it from?
The customization options you have for a theme depends on the specific theme you’re using. Based on your screenshots it looks like you’re using a theme that doesn’t have the option for you to add more sections and blocks. To test this out I recommend adding a new free theme from the Shopify theme store and trying to edit this theme using the theme editor. If you can customize this new theme, but not the one you’re currently using, this means the issue is likely caused by the theme you’re using. If you are seeing this same issue when you try to customize other themes, this likely means the issue is being caused by something else that we would need to look into further. Once I have more information I can point you in the right direction to resolve this or get more help.

Hey Erin, Yes it is only with this Theme I got it from a friend because there is certain product page code in the theme that I want to use. He got it from debutify but they don’t know how to fix it unfortunately do you know how I can fix this issue?

Since this theme isn’t created by Shopify, and isn’t from the Shopify theme store, I won’t have more information on it. For more help it’s typically best to speak to the theme developer since they will have the most accurate information on the expected behaviour of the theme and how to fix unexpected issues. If your theme developer can’t help, you can also hire a Shopify expert to assist you. That being said, in that case it may be better to choose a new theme to use. If you’re interested in trying out other themes, I’d recommend taking a look through the theme store here. If there are certain features you’re looking for, I may be able to suggest some for you as well.
