Community.
I have successfully linked Thinkific to Shopify. Ie can see my courses available to purchase that were created on Thinkific.

The issue is the Auto Enrollment. The documentation says copy the Thinkific API Key and put it into the Shopify Thinkific App Settings.

But in the Shopify App Store, Thinkific is no longer there so can not be installed. Discussed this with the Shopify online chat which will raise a ticket, but has anyone faced this, and is there a work around.

5. Configure Automatic Enrollment

  • In Thinkific, navigate to Market & Sell > Orders > API Integrations.

  • Copy your API Key and Subdomain.

  • Return to the Thinkific app settings in Shopify and enter these details to enable automatic enrollment.

This configuration ensures that when a customer purchases a course on Shopify, they are automatically enrolled in the corresponding Thinkific course.

Any resolution for this? I need to integrate my new site with thinkific. I have one site that is integrated but found the same issue of the missing thinkific app from the shopify app store when trying to install on my new store. If you found a solution I would really appreciate anything you can share.

Any solution on this? And does any of you guys know if this integration supports monthly subscription payments?
Can this be setup with shopify and run all payments throught shopify, or does the integration itself has limitations…?

Hello!

I could fix it on my end. Below my troubleshoot:

  • Make sure you have “Automatically Capture Payments” inside Shopify
  • Create a test order from Shopify using a discount code of 100% - New user needs NAME + SURNAME.

The NAME + SURNAME did it for me. That automatically enrolled me and triggered the Welcome Email with the login link.
