I have launched pre-orders today and many returning customers have been messaging me stating their address isn’t being accepted for shipping?? This is costing me a lot of sales! What’s going on?!
Hello @ASW86 ,
We are OneCommerce - an eCommerce Solution Platform.
If returning customers are having trouble entering their shipping address during the pre-order process, there could be a few reasons:
-
Incorrect formatting: Check that the address fields are being entered in the correct format. For example, make sure the customer is entering their full street address, city, state/province, and zip/postal code. If any of these fields are entered incorrectly, it may prevent the address from being accepted.
-
Shipping restrictions: Check that you have set up your shipping rates correctly and that you have not restricted shipping to certain areas or countries.
-
Technical issues: There could be a technical issue with your website or the pre-order app you are using. Try contacting the app developer to see if they have any solutions to the issue.
To resolve this issue, you can take the following steps:
-
Reach out to the customers who are experiencing the issue and ask them to double-check their address information and try again.
-
Contact the pre-order app developer for help in resolving the issue.
-
Check your shipping settings in Shopify to ensure that they are set up correctly and that there are no restrictions in place that could be preventing customers from entering their address.
-
Consider offering alternative shipping options such as local pickup or delivery to customers who are experiencing issues with their shipping address.
