After buying the last item in stock and completing the order, my customers receive a notification that the item is no longer in stock. They get frustrated because they have already paid for this item and they want their money back. What really happens is that the item went out of stock after they bought it, which means the item is available for them. How can I solve this?
Hi, @Monika1
Could you please clarify which app you use to send notifications? And share its algorithm if possible.
Hi, after they finish check out, instead of seeing page thank you for your purchase they see this message:
Out of stock
Some items are no longer available and have been removed from your cart.
They are actually still in my shopify store.
Hi, they see the notification on the shopify page. After they complete the payment, instead of order confirmed they see that some of the products in their cart is sold out.
It is a shopify internal notification and i have the same problem. Shopify removes the items from the cart after they made the purchase and it was the last piece.
The customer gets a pop up message that :
Out of stock
Some items are no longer available and have been removed from your cart.
So the customers keep sending me a message that they really ordered and something went wrong.
I have the same problem, any solutions?
We have the same issue. Any response from Shopify yet?
We have the same issue. Just came out of a chat with Shopify support, their solution was to just take track of inventory so products won’t get sold out. Seriously… Hoping that they will take a look at this issue soon.
