Notifying Vendors of a Sale

G’Day All,

I’m a member of a group of artisans selling our wares in a bricks and mortar shop. Presently we do not sell online.

All the items for sale in the shop come from artists and makers who are members of the guild. The members are listed as ‘Vendors’ in Shopify. We have the Basic Shopify plan with POS lite.

I’m wondering if there is a way that Shopify can notify the vendor via email that one of their items has sold in the shop.

Hi @GT_Guild ,

Their is not direct email service which you can use to send email, but a custom app which will subscribe the order webbook can send email to associated vendor or artist.

For this we have to modify the theme too, let me know your thoughts…
