Oauth Issue Please Advise

  • We believe the app is redirecting properly to the OAuth grant page, as required by Shopify.
  • When adding the app to the development store, it redirects to the grant page to show the requested scopes.
  • Upon clicking the install button, the app is added and a new tab is opened, redirecting to the RocketZing portal, to finish setup.
  • Based on our understanding of Shopify’s app store guidelines, this process meets the criteria for the OAuth flow.
  • I have a screenshot and a loom video that it will not allow me to post here but I can send to anyone who can help with this.

Shopify keeps sending me resources for an imbedded app and that is not relevant.

Hi @Zing_1 - from what you described, it does sound like your OAuth flow is working within our requirements. As long as the required scopes and permissions for your app are accepted by the merchant through the grant page this should function as intended. Could you share a direct link to either the screenshot or the video if possible? As well, are you seeing any error messages when this occurs or are you reaching out due to an app store approval message? Just wondering if there’s an issue preventing users from accessing your app and need a bit more detail on our end.
