Hi everyone,

I’ve launched Catalog Lantern for merchants who want a second look at a product CSV before importing it into Shopify.

The service checks selected risks with CSV structure, prices, product status values, repeated SKUs, variant combinations and image URL syntax. The original file stays unchanged, and the result is a readable report showing which records need attention.

The current pilot covers one product-only UTF-8 CSV with up to 500 data records and 20 MiB, plus one rerun after corrections. It does not edit or import products, access a live store, validate custom apps or metafields, or guarantee that Shopify will accept a file.

Please do not send customer records, order data, passwords or API keys.
