Hi everyone,
I am a developer looking for 3–5 early beta testers for a new, unlisted Shopify app I built called DocToStock.
The Problem: I noticed many merchants (especially those migrating off Stocky) are stuck manually typing in received inventory quantities when their suppliers send PDFs, images, or paper packing slips instead of clean CSVs. Searching SKUs one by one to update stock is a massive time sink.
The Solution: I built a lightweight tool to bypass that manual entry. With DocToStock:
-
You upload your supplier’s PDF or image.
-
The app extracts the line items and matches them directly to your Shopify variants (via SKU or barcode).
-
It gives you a clean review screen to approve the quantities before it safely pushes the updates to your Shopify inventory.
The Offer: The app is fully functional but currently hidden from the App Store as I finalize testing. I am offering free early access to a handful of merchants who actively deal with this manual data entry problem. In exchange, I just ask for your harsh, honest feedback on how the workflow feels.
If you’re interested in testing this to speed up your receiving process, you can reply below, send me a DM, or just grab a spot on the beta waitlist directly at DocToStock.com.
Happy to answer any technical questions about how it works under the hood as well!
