store/product description

I am launching the Dodge Ram™ Grizz V12™ Founders Edition watch collection. We are currently accepting pre-orders for a limited release of only 100 individually numbered automatic watches. I’m looking to build a premium collector brand and would appreciate your honest feedback and support.

What feedback do you want?

I would appreciate your feedback on my website, homepage, product page, navigation, and overall shopping experience. If you like what I’m building, please consider supporting my small business by sharing my store or placing a pre-order. Every bit of support helps as I launch this independent brand. Thank you!

In a nutshell:

I see a standard Horizon theme here - a few AI-generated images and no customizations whatsoever. What exactly do you want to know?

Biggest problem is the trademark. “Dodge Ram” is Stellantis’ registered trademark. Your hero, product title, and store name all use “Dodge Ram™”. There’s no licensing statement anywhere on the site.

This could get the store trademark-claimed or suspended before you ship a single watch.

The main product image is AI-generated, not product photography. The infographic on your product page is served from a file named Screenshot_…ChatGPT…jpg. Customers can see that filename if they open the image in a new tab.

For a “Founders Edition, 100-piece” pitch, that hurts the premium feel.

Some other problems :

connect a real domain.

Add an About page.

Put a legal business name and address in the footer.

Thank you for your feedback. Due to the data and extensive research history, I am the only company in the United States using the combined DODGE RAM™ trademark. Stellantis has spent billions of dollars educating the public that Dodge and Ram are separate brands. There are numerous articles discussing that separation, and Tim Kuniskis has publicly stated that a combined Dodge Ram reunion would be a “non-event.”

While Stellantis continues operating Dodge and Ram as separate brands, I operate under the combined DODGE RAM™ trademark. As I await my trademark application, I maintain that my continuous commercial use since 2025 has established the common-law rights I am asserting. My website also clearly states that my business is not affiliated with Stellantis N.V.

I appreciate your feedback regarding the website, but the trademark issue is being addressed through the appropriate legal process.

Here is the official website

That store isn’t in any condition to be reviewed by anyone.
Way too low effort I closed it in 5 seconds. especially compared to what looks like a related main site.

Off to a very bad start unless you have a ready to go mailing list for specific customers wanting this specific product who don’t need any type of pitch or premium experience at all and just need a glorified buy button page.
In the case of specific customers, just use the embeddable buy buttons or permalinks and use on the main site using your existing workflow for building landing pages; unless of course trying to avoid mixing it with the automotive stuff on that main site.

And it’s in the watch industry not automotive, they don’t own the words everywhere.

Still your playing in shopify’s sandbox a publicly traded SASS company.
When brushing up against stuff this big then tier0 support or ai automations won’t care about standing.
While any higher level support will see that myshopify store’s design and be instantly suspicious.
Put another way shopify doesn’t have to take on your burdens and will aggressively avoid even the idea of it.
Plan in advance for being punted regardless of any legal reality.

This is actually quite fascinating. Your myshopify link isn’t anywhere close to resembling your other link. And it’s interesting that official dodge ram .com isn’t even a shopify store. It’s just a landing page for ebay links (for which the seller has 0 feedback), and a gofundme page asking for donations (none to date), a non-existent instagram link, it’s just pretty weird overall…

At face value, seems like you’re trying to take an already well-established brand’s public familiarity. The trucks with your bear logo just come off as cringe.

I would seriously lay off this “I am verified trademarked” as claimed on your website and by this thread. I checked the USPTO and your trademark application has been suspended indefinitely.

The product itself, no matter if real or not, seems fake, and to me that’s all that is needed. I think merchants start off with the wrong motivation. Successful businesses - Start with a good product, then build their brand around that market validation. This brand though, I’m not really sure what it is. The website has a bunch of trucks. The ebay listings are just some ai generated shirt mockups and such, one shirt selling for 50 bucks. I’m assuming the truck listing is fake af… The “devilish christian” just feels like bad taste.

The only good thing I can see is that you were truthful about your address, misspelling forgiven. I think you are really trying to come up with something, but I don’t think the dodge ram thing is going to stick.

It’s not that I don’t like it. I would love me some cool Dodge merch. But it’s not Dodge. It’s not Ram. It’s not Chrysler. It’s not Stellantis. It’s just some guy trying to take the name and the fame. Which is fine, do your thing. If theu somehow change their mind from the repeated refusal and suspension letters, go for it.

But that’s not really the issue. I mean it most definitely will be an issue if Shopify suspends your store for infringement. But I honestly don’t think what you are claiming is real. Al the images are AI generated, not real product images. The ebay listings, the 140k truck, it just screams scam. Imo, if I was rolling out this watch or whatever, I would go on Amazon and buy some cheap product photography backdrop or a light box and take actual photos. But I think it’s not actually real so that’s probably why that’s not an option.

Sorry to offend, but I can only judge what I can see. I don’t see anything that’s original, or real. I see chatgpt images. :man_shrugging:

Actually I did see something real. Just being honest. Those super blurry floor mats… what on God’s green earth were you thinking??? Lol

If you aren’t giving information about the store or the watch, then your comments aren’t needed. This thread was created to receive feedback on my Shopify store and watch collection. If you have suggestions regarding the website’s design, navigation, user experience, product presentation, or checkout process, I’m happy to consider them. If your only interest is debating my trademark position, that issue is already being handled through the USPTO process and isn’t the purpose of this discussion.

I get it—it’s not every day you come across someone using a trademark that was once tied to a multi-billion-dollar corporation. Stellantis knows about my use because my trademark application is pending at the USPTO. They have attorneys who know trademark law far better than either of us, so I’ll let that process play out.

If you aren’t buying anything or helping move my brand forward, then your comments really don’t add value here. If you’re looking for the Dodge or Ram brands, I suggest you visit their websites. Over here, I’m operating under the combined DODGE RAM™ trademark only. Seem you arin the wrong place

y.

Yes pending is a procedural thing it seems. But if you go to the actual information, you will see it in finer detail. It’s Suspended. I’ve read the majority of the contents of all the back and forth. They seem pretty firm on the refusal.

Again, that’s not really the issue I have. It was more entertaining than anything. The real issue for me, since we are here in a Shopify forum, is your Shopify store. The Homepage is just a hero image and the watch. That’s it. Product page, same. Contact page is just a form. No About Us page. There’s really nothing here. In fact, I think it’s safe to say that the entire theme has less than a day’s work put into it.

This one is interesting though. Dodge Ram™ Grizz V12™ is the business name? Overall, I agree with everyone else, that it’s just a blank theme. Perhaps when you have spent a month perfecting it and adding your touches, you should have posted then. If I added a theme, uploaded 1 image, and 1 product and said Hey I want feedback, I think it’d be normal to expect criticism. But I will go further and say this is highly sus, given your other link, and explored a bit further into your ebay listings, gofundme, and this weird trademark suspension. Just brings in bad lighting into an already bad storefront. For the store, I think you got a lot of work to do before this is ready for customers’ eyes.

You really know nothing about trademark law. That is exactly why the TTAB exists and why the DuPont factors are used to evaluate likelihood of confusion. If trademark law were as simple as you are making it sound, countless trademark applications would automatically be rejected without any legal analysis.

My common-law trademark rights began the moment I started using the combined DODGE RAM™ trademark in commerce. I am the only company in the United States using the combined mark, and I currently have common-law rights along with a pending federal trademark application.

You also need to research trademark law before making these statements. A person is legally permitted to use a trademark while the application is pending. The USPTO does not create ownership of a trademark—trademark ownership generally comes from use in commerce. Federal registration strengthens and expands the legal protection and enforcement rights connected to that trademark.

My application being suspended does not mean it was abandoned, cancelled, or finally refused. It remains pending while the USPTO addresses the matters identified in the record. Again, this thread was created for feedback concerning my Shopify store and watch collection—not for uninformed arguments about my trademark rights.

This will be our last response

Suspended trademark application aside, there is nothing in your Shopify store that says anything you say or are “selling” is real. It’s just an AI image in a blank theme. And your links didn’t help either, only cemented my view. I noticed that the Privacy Policy has today’s date, so I think you have a very long way to go. Yes I do hope you end this and start designing a real store, and put some hardcore effort into customizing it. The theme is only a small part of running a Shopify store. There are Notification Settings and emails you need to configure. There are shipping profiles you need to set up. There is a ton of other things you could be doing besides arguing for your trademark stuff.
