This has been incredibly frustrating, and it’s been 5 months without any response from Shopify support. I’ve been banned 4 times without any reason or warning, and every time I file a dispute or contact live support, I’m promised a response within 2 business days—but I’m still waiting after 5 months.
Here’s the situation: I set up my store and everything was ready to go. As soon as I set up Shopify Payments and linked my US bank account, I got banned. After filing a dispute, I got my account back, but only after waiting a whole month. Then, when I connected the same US bank account again, I was banned immediately. I contacted support and got unbanned in 3 days, faster than before.
But then it got ridiculous—just paying for my monthly plan with my US debit card got me banned. Not for setting up Shopify Payments or linking a bank account, but literally for paying my subscription. Then, today, I created a new store, picked a plan, and boom—banned again right after paying.
I’ve talked to live chat support 4 times, and all I get are empty promises that someone will reach out within 2 days to whitelist my bank account and credit card. It’s been 5 months of this, from May until now, the end of October. All my information is verified and legal, but I’m still being banned for no reason, over and over.
I am simply getting banned by either paying in my US CREDIT CARD or Just SETTING UP SHOPIFY PAYEMTN AND CONNECTING MY US BANK ACCOUNT.
Shopify Support/Employees, I’m trying to launch my business, and these constant bans are delaying everything by months. I’m tired of the empty promises and waiting for a response that never comes. Can someone actually help me out here, or is it going to be more of the same? I WANT TO LUNCH MY BUSINESS PLEASE HELP.
