Ongoing stock synchronization issues with dropshipper

Hi!

I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has experienced stock synchronization issues with their dropshipper. We’ve been encountering a recurring problem where the stock levels shown in Shopify don’t match the stock levels in the dropshipper’s app, resulting in products being marked as out of stock on the app when they are available in Shopify.

This issue has been ongoing for several weeks now, and it’s causing significant disruptions to our operations, including order fulfillment and customer service. Despite multiple requests for support from the dropshipper, the issue remains unresolved, and we are struggling to find a solution.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems with their dropshipper, and if so, how did you resolve them? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!
Kat

Hello @Kat2024 ,

I understand that you’re experiencing stock synchronization issues with your dropshipper.

To better assist you, could you please share which dropshipper you’re using? Knowing this will help the community provide more specific advice.

It’s also worth checking if your dropshipper offers any API support, which may help automate inventory management and improve synchronization between your Shopify store and their system.

In the meantime, you might want to look into third-party solutions designed to address this exact issue, like the miniOrange Shopify Inventory Sync application. It can connect to various platforms and potentially bridge the gap between your Shopify store and your dropshipper’s inventory system.

Depending on your dropshipper’s API capabilities, miniOrange might be able to automate the synchronization process and eliminate these discrepancies.

I hope this helps. Please let us know which dropshipper you’re using and if they offer any API access, and we can try to provide more tailored advice.

I’m currently using Korealy as my dropshipper. From what I understand, they don’t seem to offer API access. When I asked them about synchronization, their reply was:

“Once you import items from Korealy to your store, the products’ information automatically syncs. You can manage all the information at your store by yourself.”

I’m not entirely sure how their synchronization works or how frequently it happens. Would something like the miniOrange Shopify Inventory Sync application still be a viable option in this case, even if Korealy doesn’t provide API access?

I have a similar issue. My Drop shipping supplier is linked to Shopify. They both reconcile back to each other with 132 products all information is the same. When the daily inventory report comes out not all my products are on there??? I have even unbound deleted the products and redone again in case I made an error. Still the same thing happens. Cannot work it out
