Online Trust

I have a small clothing brand that sells well in person. I don’t know how to get people to trust in my product to grow online sales?

Great question. If you want people to trust your brand online, there are a few important things you can do:

  1. Increase social proof: Reviews are critical. Since you are already selling well in-person, consider how you can leverage this to capture more reviews. Loyalty programs can help, and just asking is pretty powerful.
  2. Expand your product pages: Most product pages don’t have enough content. You may need more pictures, more information like specific sizing measurements, and more written copy. Consider the questions you usually answer in-store and make sure they are answered on the product pages.
  3. Eliminate barriers: Often online sales are hindered by a slow checkout process (too many clicks) or expensive shipping. Try to get to flat rate or free, if this isn’t something you already offer.

I hope that helps!

Hi @SunnyMoonwater

To keep your clients informed with automatic notifications about order status updates is important for customer satisfication. As a Shopify seller, handling order tracking issues and numerous “where is my order” inquiries from clients is inevitable. In this case, Parcel Panel can be the best choice for you. It will enable your customers to receive automatic shipping notifications at all times and be aware of the estimated delivery time, eliminating anxiety during the wait. In this case, the post-purchase solutions like Parcel Panel Order Tracking will be necessary for Shopify DTC brands to increase customer trust and shopping experiences.
