Hello i opened a store a week ago or so on shopify but no sales. I need help big time as I don’t know what do do now to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Hey @Adrian14
Welcome to the community!
Quick heads up first, you don’t get sales in just a snap. It’s something that takes time especially if you’re new to the industry. If you’re looking for a feedback then I can’t provide you one yet because you didn’t attach your store URL in your original post.
Did you do some research or tried looking for some references that are similar to your niche? We have a Store Feedback board here in the community where you’ll find some valuable advices by some experienced developers and merchants. I suggest you do take some advices from there as well.
Moreover, share your store URL and I’ll not only provide you a personalized feedback but will also point you to the right direction.
Cheers,
Moeed
Hi @Adrian14 ,
It’s only been a week, so don’t panic most new Shopify stores don’t get sales immediately. The first thing I’d check is:
- Are you getting visitors? If not, focus on driving targeted traffic through SEO, social media, or ads.
- If you have traffic but no sales, review your product pages, pricing, shipping costs, trust signals (reviews, contact page, return policy), and checkout experience.
- Make sure your store loads quickly, looks professional on mobile, and has clear product descriptions and high-quality images.
- Set up GA4 or Shopify Analytics to see where visitors are dropping off (product page, cart, or checkout).
If you’re comfortable sharing your store URL, the community can provide specific feedback on what’s working well and what could be improved.
Thanks a million. I am new to this and im not sure if im doing something wrong but any feed back ye both would be great. Here’s the url novanexa-store.myshopify.com feels free to give any input
what have you been doing to get sales ad have you done the fundamentals a store needs to attract customwers that will buy
I haven’t had any sales, thats why im wondering if im doing something wrong or is my store not good. I don’t know. I put a few paid reels on Facebook got a good few views but nothing
welcome to the enterpreneurship. It takes months to gain any traction.
Use session replay like that in posthog. It records videos of how user is using your site (some privacy issues though). It gives lots of insights like which pages customers are not visiting/visitng → so you can decide which pages should be fixed earlier.
It is also free for less users.
You are selling almost everything. You have 181 products spread across clothing, electronics, jewellery, pet supplies, toys, health and beauty, household supplies and car accessories.
The headline on your homepage - “You’ll find the best products here”. It is quite generic.
Poor SEO:
- headline is “baked” into the banner image. It is not real text. Google cannot read it.
- no meta description
There are lots of free seo analysis tool out there. Use them.
The Best Sellers row:
Fix: rename “Best” to “New in”. Use like four products from one category in a similar price range.
Clean up your prices - €247,35. €78,93. €69,54. €2,61. Round them to ,99.
sub €3 products: After shipping and ad cost those cannot make money. So drop them or create a bundle
Dont directly import the product images. Clean them up. Sizes and background should be the same
Three products have no image:
- Portable Projector at €72,00,
- Breathing Plush Music Doll,
- UV Toothbrush Sanitizer.
hi are you not getting any traffic at all or you just want more so i can know how to help you
Yeah a week is usually not gonna cut it. Nevermind the insane prices you set on the few products in your store… Just put yourself in the customer’s shoes… you go to a random website and you see this. Would you pay 288 bucks for a sweatshirt? Come on…
It’s not that hard to just do a few double checking of this and that to see what it looks like. But it is quite hard to build yourself a reputable brand. Here’s some things to go over and really truly ask yourself deep down “Am I really cut out for this?” ------

Hey, @Adrian14
Hope you are doing great!
I’d recommend checking out Rebuy if you need advanced upsell and cross-sell features. It’s flexible and works well for growing stores.
Congrats on launching. The others gave you good technical fixes, but the primary issue I see is the store has no lane.
You’re selling a $288 sweatshirt, a $4 dog ball, a hydrogen water cup, and a massage gun. General stores don’t really work anymore. There’s no reason to pick you over Amazon, and you can’t market a store that has no customer. Your hero says “You’ll find the best products here,” which could be any store selling anything.
Pick a niche and go two or three levels deep. Not “a general store,” not even “a fitness store.” Go to “a fitness store for people training at home in small apartments,” or “a supply store for working dog owners.” That specificity is also what makes marketing possible, because a niche has a subreddit, a group, a TikTok corner. A general store has nowhere to post. You can always widen later, once you’ve proven you can sell to that one person.
On the images: AI is fine, nobody cares. The problem is yours are generic. A stock guy in a hoodie cheering at his phone reads instantly as a template. Make them specific to your niche and your actual product, or just order a couple of items and shoot real photos on your phone.
Then a few quick ones. Cut the catalog to 15 to 25 products that serve that one person. Rewrite the hero as real text naming who it’s for (and even who its NOT for). Add an about page with your name and face, since new stores lose sales to “is this even real,” not to price. Fix the dropship tells like “Welcome to our store”, and get your first ten reviews by selling cheap to people in that niche and asking for honest photos.
Last thing, and it’s not your priority right now, so fix the niche first. But I founded Carti, an AI sales associate for Shopify. Once you have a lane and some traffic, it answers buyer questions and helps people find the right product. Plus, the part that would help you earliest is seeing what your visitors are actually asking, which is useful signal while you’re still deciding what to sell. It’s free at your size, so it costs nothing to have running while you sort the rest out.
Welcome to the community.
You opened a new store and do not know what to do. Well, you have to work more on the store and learn from Store Feedback and the experiences of others. So not 2-3 topics but 100+. You will learn some patterns, see some tips that worked on other stores and what is missing on yours.
Read 3 times @Maximus3 amazing checklist, and go through it one by one.
And be patient. So learn, apply, repeat.
Also, please remove a long screenshot from admin as your banner on home ![]()
Good luck.

Speed Optimization
Your PageSpeed report shows:
- FCP: 1.8s
- LCP: 6.6s (Needs Improvement)
- TBT: 20ms
- CLS: 0
The main issue is the Largest Contentful Paint (LCP).
Improve LCP
- Compress the hero banner image.
- Convert large images to WebP/AVIF.
- Preload the hero image (
fetchpriority="high"where appropriate). - Avoid lazy loading the first visible image.
- Specify
widthandheightattributes on images to prevent layout calculations. - Use responsive image sizes (
srcsetandsizes).
Image Optimization
- Compress all images before upload.
- Avoid uploading images much larger than their display size.
- Use modern formats (WebP/AVIF).
- Enable lazy loading only for below-the-fold images.
CSS Optimization
- Remove unused CSS.
- Minify CSS.
- Inline critical CSS for above-the-fold content.
- Load non-critical styles asynchronously where appropriate.
JavaScript Optimization
- Remove unused JavaScript.
- Defer non-critical scripts.
- Delay third-party apps until after initial rendering when possible.
- Audit apps and uninstall any that are not needed.
Best regards,
Devcoder ![]()
A week’s way too early to walk away, so don’t yet. The niche point above from DanielAnderson is the real fix, and ajaycodewiz already caught your homepage SEO, so I’ll just add one thing nobody’s flagged: none of your product images have alt text. I checked a few of your products and there were close to 200 images between them without a single alt set. That’s a quick win. Alt text is the short description Shopify lets you add to each image (open a product, click the image, Edit alt text), and it’s what Google Images reads plus what shows if a photo ever fails to load, so it’s free traffic you’re leaving on the table. You don’t need to do all 181, just the handful you keep once you pick a lane. Same idea for the copy: your descriptions all open in that default import voice (“Unleash your inner allure”, “Discover the ultimate…”), so rewriting even a couple in plain words about who the product is actually for goes a long way.
Hi there @Adrian14
A new store will almost always take some time and testing before sales start coming. Start with your traffic sources, product pages, pricing and checkout flow. Your products should have well-articulated benefits, nice images and trust elements, such as reviews or policies. Try pulling in targeted visitors with content, ads, or partnerships instead of waiting for organic sales. You can use the analytics to tell where your custmers are dropping out from your site.
