I have built my store on shopify but I am not able understand how to start the business as I do not have an SSN or an EIN in the US. I plan to use drop ship partners.
I have started a trade license in Finland but how can I close the loop and begin to make sales as it seems only US residents can actually use Shopify, not EU residents?!
Is there some sort of license or direction you can tell me so:
I know how to have local presence in US if this is the only way forward
Alternatively do not require EIN or SSN and have another solution for Finland/Scandinavia/Europe or alternatively GCC/Qatar/UAE
How to link a payment gateway that works to
a) Finland bank account (pay trail apparently works but how would I set that up?)
Please help as it’s been a couple of months now, I even hired a Shopify expert but I have yet to move forward with the right information…

You can use our platform no matter where you are in the world and the requirements are tailored to what is typically required of you in your location. Since you are in Finland, you will not need an SSN or EIN. Shopify Payments is available in your country, so you have the option to use it in your store, and these are some of the required local details to use our payment gateway:
a bank account in EUR currency and with an EU or Finland-based bank.
a bank account eligible for SEPA transfers.
a bank account that has an IBAN that starts with the following letters: AT, BE, CH, DE, DK, EE, ES, FI, FR, GB, GI, IE, IT, LU, NL, NO, PT, or SE.
Customers in the US and anywhere else can use Shopify Payments, or any other payment gateway, so reaching and appealing to your target market is a matter of localizing your website. We have some tips on how to localize your website on this page. I recommend checking that out!
