Optimize the session of the website

Good day,

I have run the online store for 1 year and have using the Meta advertisement for boosting the session of my website.

I spend daily 80$ for Meta advertisement and the session performed 150~200 and It’s been stuck.

One of my friend he runs same business in South Korea and spent 650$ daily for Meta advertisement

And the output of session is like over 3K.

I understand the gap is depends on the Meta advertisement budget but the session in my case has to be higher than the result based on my friend’s experience.

I transplanted the photos and setting of Meta advertisement, additionally followed the many recommendation for setting the Meta advertisement by Youtube.

I would like to boost the session of my website, is there any advises?

Thank you for your time guys.

Kind regards,

Hi @buttercase

You’re spending $80/day on Meta ads but only getting 150–200 sessions, which seems low.
Your friend in South Korea gets 3K+ sessions with $650/day, but regional CPM and targeting differences matter.
Copying ad settings and creatives isn’t always effective — audiences and brand contexts differ.
Targeting may be too narrow or your pixel may lack conversion data, reducing Meta’s algorithm efficiency.
Try broader audiences or Advantage+ campaigns for better scaling.
Switch ad goals to “Landing Page Views” or “Conversions” if you’re using “Traffic” or “Clicks.”
Refresh creatives often; test videos, UGC, and problem-solution formats.
Ensure your website loads fast and is mobile-optimized to reduce bounce.
Use retargeting for warm audiences like visitors or social engagers.
Track metrics (CTR, CPM, bounce) and A/B test aggressively to find what works.

Hey there,

It sounds like you’re running into some challenges with your Meta ads, especially when comparing results to those of your friends. While budget does matter, things like who you’re targeting, where they are, and how your ads are set up can make a big difference too. Try testing a wider audience or using Meta’s Advantage+ campaigns to help scale.

You might also get better results by setting your ad goal to “Landing Page Views” or “Conversions.” Don’t forget to keep your ad creatives fresh and make sure your website loads quickly, especially on mobile. That can really boost engagement.

Another thing to do is improve tracking. I recommend using an effective Meta Pixel targeting app like AdNabu’s Meta Pixel app, which can help improve how accurately your ads reach the right people. It also allows you to track key actions on your site, like purchases, add to cart, checkout starts, and other steps, so you can better understand what’s working and where people drop off.

Hey @buttercase

It’s true that budget impacts traffic volume, but there are other key factors affecting your Meta ads performance:

  • Target Audience: Narrow or broad targeting affects reach. Try testing different audiences, interests, and lookalikes.

  • Ad Creative: Engaging images or videos with clear messaging perform better. Rotate creatives regularly to avoid ad fatigue.

  • Ad Placement: Experiment with placements (Feed, Stories, Reels, etc.) to see what works best for your audience.

  • Campaign Objective: Make sure your campaign objective matches your goal (e.g., traffic vs conversions).

  • Pixel Setup: Check that your Facebook Pixel is properly installed and tracking events accurately for better optimization.

  • Bidding & Budget: Sometimes increasing budget alone isn’t enough without optimizing bids or scaling gradually.

Also, markets differ, South Korea’s audience behavior and competition may differ from yours, so results vary.

I recommend reviewing your ad analytics closely to spot what’s working and what isn’t, and try A/B testing different ads and audiences.
