Optimizing font loading - fonts loading too many times

Hello,

I was told that my store www.ellynaturals.pl loads 7-8 times same fonts which has effect on site speed. I have no idea how to solve this issue, so that only the necessary would be preloaded (or whatever is the best for speed load. Can anyone help?

This the link you have for google fonts:

https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Montserrat:100,200,300,400,500,600,700,800,900%7CGotu:100,200,300,400,500,600,700,800,900

See you have Montserrat: 100,200,300,400,500,600,700,800,900?

So google is generating links of Montserrat, 100, 200, 300, you get the idea.

Your not loading the same font 9 times, your loading 9 different versions of the font.

If your using all font of those font sizes, then keep it how it is, if you aren’t using all those sizes, and you don’t think you will, remove the unneeded sizes.
