Option to get small advance payment for COD shipment

Hi

I am looking forward for some app through which I can collect a small advance payment for COD Shipment. This will avoid fake orders or the COD orders, which get cancelled afterward

Thanks for your suggestion however the app does not give any option to
collect some advance payment for COD Shipment

Unfortunately it’s not possible to have customers pay a small advance payment and then pay the rest with COD. On Shopify orders can only be completed with one payment method, which would make it impossible to have customers pay a small advance using a prepaid method and then the rest with COD on Shopify’s checkout.

There is no app or service that will allow you to do what you need because of this limitation in Shopify. Your best option to prevent fraud and fake COD orders is to verify orders after they have been completed by calling your customers before shipping orders, you might also want to consider apps that automate this process from the Shopify App Store.
