Order confirmation email was received by the customer but the body was empty with only the email title showing. I tested the notification and I was able to receive the order confirmation model with all the elements, whereas, it isn’t the case when I try to simulate an order (with the same email address).
What can I do ?
Hello @NatureHome ,
Here are some suggestions you can try to follow:
- Verify email template customization: Ensure that the order confirmation email template in your Shopify settings is not customized in a way that removes the necessary elements. Go to your Shopify admin, navigate to Settings > Notifications, and select the Order confirmation email. Review the email template and make sure it includes the necessary Liquid variables for displaying the order details.
- Check email content settings: Double-check that the email content settings are correctly configured for the order confirmation email. In the Shopify admin, go to Settings > Notifications, select the Order confirmation email, and ensure that the “Email content” field is not empty and contains the necessary Liquid code to display the order details.
- Review email triggers: Confirm that the order confirmation email is set to be triggered and sent to customers when an order is placed. In the Shopify admin, go to Settings > Notifications, select the Order confirmation email, and verify that the “Order status” dropdown is set to “Any order status” or the specific status you want to trigger the email.
- Test with a different email address: If you are simulating an order with the same email address as your Shopify admin account, there may be some conflict or filtering happening. Try placing a test order with a different email address to see if the issue persists.
Hope this can help. Let us know if you need any further support.
