Hi,
I have set up a specific email address for order notifications to be sent through to, and despite all my efforts they just will not go through to that address. Literally any other address works…
The email address is working correctly, it can send and receive all other mail, just not the notifications from shopify orders. I am probably being dumb but I cannot think of anything else to do to get it to work.
Hi there, @MariaIngram ! Thank you for taking the time to reach outhere to the Shopify Community Forums! My name is Imogen. It’s good to meet you!
Just to be clear, are you saying that you’ve set up a specific email address that you’re looking to have the Shopify Notifications alerting you of placed orders sent to? Is this email address the same one that you have set up in. ‘Settings’ > ‘General’ of your Shopify Admin?
Hi Imogen,
Thanks, yes I set up a specific [email removed] email address for the notifications to be sent to. This is separate to the main admin email.
I can send and receive order notifications to the main admin email, plus literally any other email addresses I have added to test (such as my personal address) they all work. Just the specific order email address will not work.
I can’t find any reason for it not working. The email account is working fine, both sending and receiving. There is nothing in spam… it is driving me crazy!
Interesting, @MariaIngram ! Thanks for following up with that information!
I appreciate you providing that extra clarity around things! In order for our Team to properly investigate this issue with this email address receiving these emails, I recommend reaching out to our Authenticated Support Team via our Help Center. This will allow your team to get you authenticated and collect some information from you related to this specific email address so we can investigate why it’s not receiving these emails as it should be. The email address may have been added to a suppression list, for example, resulting in issues with that specific email receiving notifications. Our Team should be able to better investigate this once they have you authenticated.
