"Order SPFxxx placed by Customer Name" emails showing in Gmail Sent folder since adding DMARC record

Hoping someone could advise.

A few weeks ago I finally got around to adding DMARC record but since then all ‘new order’ emails are now appearing in our Gmail Sent folder (as well as the Inbox).

Prior to this, they would only appear in the Inbox but not in Sent.

Any idea what might have triggered this and how I can resolve it?

I tried to contact Shopify support but the bot just took me through an endless loop..
