Hi all,
We made a large effort in Q3/Q4 2021 to improve our Pagespeed Scores, resulting in 95+ scores (Mobile) on all our website sub pages at www.csselectronics.com . However, in recent weeks/months, it seems like the pagespeed scores have consistently dropped from 95+ to the 75-85 range.
We have made no changes that could explain this, so I assume that it is either a change in the Pagespeed scoring methodology - or something that happened as part of the Shopify-controlled elements of the store.
Has anybody else experienced similar results?
Martin
@mfcss ,
Yes I have checked your store on page insight tool. Your store Desktop score in good but mobile is very low. and low score can kill your traffic.
Need to work on following points
Theme Upgrade if there is a scope and upgraded theme available
Use Critical CSS .
Reduce Large Image Sizes
Compress Images
Limit Third Party JavaScript & Shopify Apps
Preload Web Fonts.
I would suggest limiting to one and using a standard web font.
Reduce Unnecessary JavaScript loading, parsing, or execution.
Reducing JavaScript payloads with code splitting, removing unused code, or efficiently loading third-party JavaScript.
Or let us know the details we will audit your store will let you know the solution.

Hi Martin,
Your overall score on the core web vitals is 90+ but for mobiles, your score is 78, and the following can be the reasons -
Unused theme.css
Large layout shifts.
Reduce unused javascript
You can improve your store’s total blocking time by -
Reducing the impact of third-party code.
Reducing JavaScrit execution time.
Minimize the main thread work.
Keep request counts low and transfer size small.
Monitor your application on weekly-basis basis.
Just a little effort and a push will improve your store’s speed on mobile view. We are a message away if you need any help.
All the best,
Team CedCommerce.
