Example provided: “Black - T‑Shirt - M” was OOS from 1 May 2024 to 6 May 2024, totaling 5 days.
Goal: quantify lost sales from stockouts and improve inventory forecasting and accuracy.
Needs: per‑SKU tracking of stock status changes and historical out‑of‑stock intervals that can be computed and reported.
Openness to solutions: Shopify apps, third‑party tools, or bespoke development.

I’m looking for an app or a custom solution. which can help me calculate the days a particular SKU was out of stock
For eg:-
SKU - Black - T-Shirt - M went out of stock on 1st May 2024 and then came back in stock on the 6th May 2024
So SKU - Black - T-Shirt - M was out of stock for 5 days.
This analysis will help me to evaluate sales lost because of stockouts and help me improve inventory forecasting and accuracy
